Atlantic Veterinary Hospital wants to be the primary healthcare provider for your special friend throughout every stage of life. Our Wellness Plans help you save money on important preventive healthcare services you were already planning for your furry family members.

Each Wellness Plan provides all essential preventive healthcare services for one year, plus discounts on any additional care your pet may need. Some benefits universal to all our Wellness Plans are:

• Complimentary wellness exams with your pet’s doctor
• All recommended vaccinations and routine diagnostic screening tests
• Low exam co-pay for all other scheduled health exams
• 12 affordable monthly payments
• 5% off parasite prevention (excludes our online pharmacy)
• Courtesy nail trims with doctor exams (if requested)
• 24/7 online access to your pet’s health records

Each plan is affordably priced and the cost is conveniently divided over a 12-month period. Plans may be changed to a different plan when the need arises.

Wellness Plan Overview for Kittens and Puppies

Puppies and kittens inherit a natural immunity from their mother that helps protect them from birth until about 6 weeks of age. After 6 weeks, your pet depends on you to continue that protection until their own immune system is fully developed.

A Wellness Plan is designed to continue that protection by providing all wellness services necessary to carry your young pet through the important first year of life. Our puppy and kitten plans include all essential examinations, vaccines, lab work and other tests recommended in the first year of life.

If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, there is a plan that includes the pre-surgical bloodwork for puppies and female kittens, hospitalization for the day, surgical procedure, post-surgical comfort package, and medical progress examination.

For maximum protection, we strongly recommend you enroll your pet in a Wellness Plan between 6 weeks and 5 months of age.

Preventive Care Plan Overview for Adult Dogs and Cats

Dogs and cats age at a much faster rate than people. For every year that you age, your dog or cat can age from 6 to 8 years.

Your pet’s medical and nutritional needs change as their bodies age. A Wellness Plan helps manage their evolving healthcare needs by monitoring vital organ function and detecting problems early, before they become life threatening.

Every Adult Wellness Plan offered by Atlantic Veterinary Hospital includes all examinations, vaccines, laboratory tests and other services essential to help protect your pet against illness and disease.

An upgraded plan is designed to provide additional services like routine dental cleanings and dental radiographs.

Our goal is to keep your pet healthy and happy during the prime years of his or her life.

Adult Wellness Plans are designed for pets older than 7 months of age.
