Pain Management

Pets experiencing pain can’t tell us they hurt. Pets in pain may restrict their activity, stop eating and playing, become depressed or aggressive, and refuse to interact with the family.

Our veterinary team works hard to identify and limit the pain felt by our patients. Our doctors are educated in the variety and uses of current pain medications, and use a multi-modal approach, often recommending the strategic combination of more than one pain medication, with diet, physical therapy, supplements, and referral for acupuncture, hydrotherapy, etc., if appropriate.

Pets without pain want to play, exercise, and participate in family activities. They feel better, and so do their humans.
