About Atlantic Vet

“I hope to make people realize how totally helpless animals are, how dependent on us, trusting as a child must that we will be kind and take care of their needs… [They] are an obligation put on us, a responsibility we have no right to neglect, nor to violate by cruelty.”

– Dr. James Herriot
(Scottish veterinarian
and author, 1916-1995)

Atlantic Veterinary Hospital was established in the 1960s on Atlantic Avenue in Seattle and moved to its present location in the North Beacon Hill Neighborhood in 1986.

Through the years, Atlantic Veterinary Hospital has continually modernized and advanced, but our mission remains the same: to provide you and your pets with a compassionate and caring veterinary experience from people you trust.

We’d like to be your pet’s family doctor.

Experienced veterinarians Dr. Tricia Munroe and Dr. Laura Monahan each bring their own talents and professional interests, allowing us to offer a broad range of services and a depth of medical experience.

Along with our dedicated and licensed veterinary nursing professionals and caring receptionist staff, we strive to provide the very best care, communication, and comfort to you and your pet.

Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is located in Seattle’s Rainier Valley at 2115 – 23rd Avenue South.
