Acupuncture

Fotolia_53860037_XS-300x199Acupuncture is an ancient healing art used to treat a wide variety of illness and injury, enhancing a pet’s quality of life without medication.

Musculoskeletal conditions, like arthritis, and other illnesses, such as kidney and intestinal diseases, may be helped with acupuncture.

During an acupuncture treatment, specific body points are stimulated with tiny needles (or other means) to balance the body’s energy (Qi), provide pain relief, and promote a sense of wellbeing. Most pets tolerate acupuncture very well, often falling asleep during treatment.
